With more than 20 years of leadership and management experience—and over 7½ years of hands-on Airbnb hosting and short-term rental management—Melissa brings the perfect blend of professionalism, organization, and hospitality know-how to every property she manages.

Melissa has personally managed multiple Airbnb properties and a local major short-term vacation rental company, giving her real-world insight into what it takes to keep guests happy, owners profitable, and properties running flawlessly. From pricing strategy and turnovers to communication, reviews, and problem-solving, she understands the short-term rental business from the inside out.

Her background as a senior team leader in large-scale operations means she excels at coordinating people, schedules, and details. Melissa has successfully led large, multi-team operations, managed complex staffing schedules, and overseen inventory and transitions across multiple departments—consistently delivering top-tier results and earning repeated recognition for performance, leadership, and operational excellence.

Known for her people-centered leadership style and commitment to quality, Melissa is passionate about creating memorable stays while protecting each owner’s investment. She believes great property management is equal parts strategy, communication, and care—and she brings all three with energy, precision, and a smile.

Scott Estrada is the owner of Salty Stays Vacations and the kind of leader you want watching over your property. With over 30 years of experience in construction, facilities maintenance, and project management—and a 26-year career as a U.S. Air Force veteran—Scott has built a reputation for protecting assets, solving problems, and delivering results in high-pressure, no-fail environments.

Before launching Salty Stays Vacations, Scott managed and inspected large-scale construction and facility projects across the U.S. and overseas, leading teams of up to 90 people and overseeing everything from routine maintenance to major capital improvements. His background in hospitality project management means he understands what guests expect—and what owners need to stay profitable.

Scott also brings over four years of hands-on Airbnb hosting experience, giving him real-world insight into short-term rentals, guest satisfaction, pricing, turnovers, and five-star reviews. As the owner of his own handyman company and a certified locksmith, he doesn’t just manage properties—he understands them down to the last hinge, lock, and light switch.

At the core of Scott’s approach is simple: treat every property like it’s his own. From proactive maintenance and fast response times to clear communication and decisive leadership, Scott is committed to helping owners protect their investment while delivering unforgettable stays for every guest.

Midwest-raised, Florida-based, and detail-obsessed in the best way. I graduated from Southern Illinois University and am currently continuing my education at the University of Central Florida to keep my skills sharp and up to date.

Driven, hardworking, and resilient, I’ve built my career through consistency, determination, and a commitment to doing things the right way—no shortcuts. With 10+ years in accounting, I know how to keep finances accurate, organized, and running smoothly. I also bring two years of experience in the hospitality industry, so I understand people just as well as I understand numbers.

I’m known for catching the details others miss and delivering work that’s reliable, efficient, and done right.

But more than anything, I’m a wife to the best man and a mom to three amazing daughters—and that’s my favorite role by far. My family is at the center of everything I do, and they’re the reason I value hard work, integrity, and showing up for others every single day.

I’ve lived in Florida for four years, which has strengthened my ability to adapt, solve problems, and keep moving forward no matter what comes my way.

When I’m not working, you’ll find me with my family, traveling, enjoying time with our three dogs, exploring new places, or at a theme park—most likely somewhere in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

Felix Toussaint is a Managing Partner at Salty Stays Vacations, working alongside the rest of the team to grow the company while making sure every owner receives the same care and attention, whether they're property number five or property number five hundred. A Broker and experienced real estate professional, Felix brings the vision and operational discipline it takes to scale a property management company without losing the personal touch that owners value most.

Felix's real estate journey began in 2019 as a licensed agent, investor, and homeowner, and grew into founding his own property management company. He understands real estate from every angle, including buyer, seller, investor, and manager, which gives him real insight into what protects and grows an owner's investment.

On the short-term rental side, Felix brings deep, real-world experience. He has personally owned and operated his own short-term rental and has managed a portfolio of over 100 vacation rentals for more than five years. That experience gives him firsthand knowledge of pricing strategy, guest satisfaction, turnovers, five-star reviews, and everything it takes to keep both guests and owners happy.



Felix focuses on building the systems and standards that allow Salty Stays Vacations to grow the right way. His philosophy is simple: scaling should never come at the cost of quality. Every new property is brought on with the same care and accountability as the first, and every owner is treated like the most important client in the portfolio.
