With over 30 years of experience in construction, facilities maintenance, and project management—and a 26-year career as a U.S. Air Force veteran—Scott has built a reputation for protecting assets, solving problems, and delivering results in high-pressure, no-fail environments.

Before launching Salty Stays Vacations, Scott managed and inspected large-scale construction and facility projects across the U.S. and overseas, leading teams of up to 90 people and overseeing everything from routine maintenance to major capital improvements. His background in hospitality project management means he understands what guests expect—and what owners need to stay profitable.

Scott also brings over four years of hands-on Airbnb hosting experience, giving him real-world insight into short-term rentals, guest satisfaction, pricing, turnovers, and five-star reviews. As the owner of his own handyman company and a certified locksmith, he doesn’t just manage properties—he understands them down to the last hinge, lock, and light switch.
